When I found the above picture on Flickr, the caption for this was
"Life is simple. It's just not easy."
It made me think not once, but twice about life.
I was chatting with Mom this afternoon, about marriage & responsibilities.
The list of responsibilities I have to cope with in time to come really scares me off.
From being a filial daughter, to being in the workforce, and to the role as a Mother.
This is life and we have to fulfill them.

I went for a jog just now along the canal.
It was a good 4km run!
Went over to Yani's place with Ruz to chill for awhile.
And I came back home having all the things I need to settle before I hit the sacks.
That is to do a self-reflection!
August: Exams(do freaking well!), WaterFest event & Nike 10km run
September: My birthday! (Stay in Singapore or fly over to Bangkok?) & Driving TP (On my brithday. That determines if i'll enjoy it or not.)
October: Hello Beijing!
November: Attachment! (save money & retreat for my parents!)
I have been taking almost everything around for granted.
It has worsen me as a human being a lot!
I have never been this way in life, and I don't want this to continue within me.
The school semester is ending soon, before I realized.
This means I have been taking everything too lightly that I was just living each day as it is.
This is bad! Really bad.
Now, return me my old self.
P.S./ It was sweet of you to remind me that I have to catch the show on Channel 8 at 9pm tonight, because that is the episode we caught them filming at ECP. I was outta words when you MSN-ed me about this. I was just plain touched! :)
The weekends have ended. Yet another busy week coming along, and this will be the last week till we bid goodbye to all the projects! I'm looking forward to the 4th of August - Final presentation for EAIPJ!

Alright, from the above visuals, you can tell that I had a good dinner with my family. It was kind of a farewell dinner for Uncle John before he leave for an assignment in the Middle East. Anyways, he left this evening! All the best, Uncle! :)
I got to see Xin Pei, my cute little cousin. She's only primary 4, and very well knowledgeable! She takes up yoga classes at True Yoga and listens to all the pop songs. She even asked,"Clara jie jie, you got the Rihanna song - Take A Bow ah?" I was rather surprised! Hahaha. Because when I was her age, I only listen to Mariah Carey, Westlife or Backstreet Boys. Wahahaha!
After dinner, I met up with Andrew and some of his camp-mates to just chill around Toa Payoh/Raffles Place/Thomson Prata House/Yishun Dam. Good to just relax myself a little, but not too much, yes? The next day, though I weren't working, neither was Andrew, we went down to Tampines Mall Starhub to wait for Ettrick to end work. I could have just work, and stand there chit-chatting till work ends. Caught up with the other promoters as well! I miss work! Just too caught up with school that I can't squeeze out a slot for work. Should I take up the job for Comex IT fair that's gonna happen fromm 28th - 31st of August? Or.. Just enjoy myself before FYP starts?
Back on track! After Ettrick knock off, we went to Lower Pierce Reservior to do something stupid. I almost peeped on my shorts! They brought me to walk this whole stratch of road deep inside the forest. Oh gosh! Can't imagine I went through that path safely. Phewwwww!
Then we went to Alexandra Arch Bridge to explore that beautiful place. It's near Harbour Front and where the cable car dinner is, i guess.
I searched on the net & found a few pictures! (We were too engross in going "Wah.. This place is really nice ah?" "Can come here & chill next time." Kept wah-ing!)
It's 66.52m above sea level.

Sunday came & go! Project with Wei Shan & Bo Song over at my place. Subway for dinner! The Dark Knight at AMK Hub, along with Soon Wee.
I pretty love my weekends!
It would be better if you can be here with me though.
I still miss you like how I used to. Can you come back soon? <3 you!
Oh, look now there goes my phone
And once again I'm just hoping it's a text from you
It ain't right read your message twice thrice
Four times a night it's true
Everyday patiently wait
Feeling like a fool but I do, anyway
Nothing can feel as sweet and as real
'Cos I know that I wasn't waiting in vain..
And maybe it's true
I'm caught up on you
Maybe there's a chance you stuck on me too
So maybe I'm wrong
It's all in my head
Maybe we're afraid of words we both haven't said
even pretty can be seen by the blind
i know that i cannot wait
until the day we finally learn how to find each other
redefining open minds
the moral of the story is
I have been distracted!
I have to do some research online. The first thing once my laptop has start up, I would sign onto MSN. I would check my mail too! Go online for a little shopping spree, then since I'm blog hopping, I would go to other girls' blogs and just read whatever they have there. Feeling envious of them as well - How lovely their life is! By the time, my eyes are a little tired. I would give myself some excuses that I should rest my eyes.. So I would just hit the sacks.
Till the end of the day, nothing has been achieved! Very bad. See what Internet has done to us?
Okaye, maybe this is only happening to me. I should blame myself for being so easily distracted, yes? Okaye.. I know what to do now. I won't be signing onto MSN even though I'm dead bored. I would only be on MSN if there's any discussion going on for any of my assignments.
Call/text me if you are looking for me, okaye, pretty boys & girls? :)
Now, I better go off! And start doing my work which has to be completed by tonight.
P.S./ Mummy's Ba Ku Teh is the bessssssssssst!
Date: 18 July 2008

After all the drinks and games, we went up to the room at Siloso Beach Resort. I love that place! It's very laxing and beautiful! It made me feel like I was in some beach resort at Batam/Bintan/Tioman. I wanna go back there again! :)

Check out at 12pm!
Vivo City to check out at the Sistic counter if we could sign up for the 10km Nike Run, but no.. We have to sign up online. Tell me if any of you are going! We can run together, along with Alvin, Precilla and Eunice. :)
Till then, busy week ahead!
Entrepreneurship Presentation + J2EE test + KM assignment.
Ciao, people.
I hope brother will recover soon!
Get well soon, kor kor.
I can't afford to lose anyone anymore.
It's really tough throughout this rough patch.
Am I taking life for granted?
After many failed attempts to be on time for Entre lecture, I finally make it there on the dot.
Thank you for the morning call, bx! :D
I told you'al I have really sweet friends around me. :)
School from 9am to 11:30pm was awesome.
Lecture - Tutorial - Lecture - South Canteen - Lecture - Project @ McDonalds'.
Oh yes, we were in school for close to 15 hours.
As usual, the many lines of codes on the monitor hurt my eyes so badly.
But, my endurance is paid off with good knowledge.
Cabbed home because the phobia of the long walk home still lingers on my mind.
Uncle: One dollar, One dollar!

Li Yu Chun - Ai De Tai Sha
This weekend is coming to an end in about 4 hours time. To sum it all up, it was a fruitful one! Thanks to the people around me giving me the motivation to carry on with what I'm supposed to be doing. Especially Bing Xi and Wei Shan! They knew that I'm stressed out with the projects and life, but never fail to put back the smile on my face. Thank you people a million times!
On Saturday and Sunday, Bing Xi and Wei Shan were over at my place from 11am to about 7pm for both the days, working on EAIPJ and Entreprenuership assignment. It was really tough trying to struggle so many projects within such a short time frame. Glad that there was a slight progress after each day. This will be over soon! :) 4 more weeks!!!
I love days like that. Keeping myself busy the whole day! Feeling drained out at the end of the day, that I just fell asleep unknowingly on my bed.
Last night after BX and WS left, Ruz came over to fetch me. Went for a jog at Bishan. I finish the 3km run without any pause inbetween, and I have been doing this for the past weeks. I will be jogging at least once a week! I will keep to this plan. Met Nigel aftermath, because these two guys wanna play some inter-challange game on their PSP. Prata house and home.
Oh ya, I managed to watch the NDP preview air show from my place. The hearts drawn in the sky is wonderful!
You're the one who made me realized that I should not believe in others' words so easily..
I miss you still.
I'm slowly coping well with things on hand. (:
Exam timetable came out this afternoon!

My TP has been booked, but now I got to change the date, because it clashes with Logistics paper. Hopefully I can get a test date during early September and before my birthday. Hahaha!
Brother went to school to pick me up after lesson, and headed to Causeway Point for shopping. The best thing to shop with my brother is that he pays for everything!
Red is sex! :D

Visited my aunt's new place at Woodlands. JUMBO FLAT!!! Imagine two 4-room flats combined into one! My cousins are really fortunate. I wanna have a stay-over there soon, prolly after my papers.
Aftermath, brother send me to the train station where I met up with Miss Tee KeJia.
We went to Changi Airport to pick Shuling up!
Chilled at a cafe talking about boys, friends, life & of 'cos her wonderful experience of snow-skiing and horse riding.
Home with a terrible headache! :(
Anyhows, here the long awaited update post! Firstly, I will update on CommunicAsia 2008 & followed by Jonathan's 20th last night.
The 4 days at CommunicAsia 2008 was a good experience to gain from. I made friends from all over the world, especially Koreans who are from LG headquarter. They are all friendly! Even the MCs there are friendly, accompanying us for lunch break and tell us about how they first started out their own company. I dream to be one of these entrepreneurs in future!
The good ol' people I have been working with.
Sin Yi, Samantha, Poh Suan, Pei Shan, Lin Lin, Pek Fong & Sharon.

The other favourite of mine; Pek Fong.

I had fun with them! More roadshows together. :)
Jonathan's 20th @ Serenity Park
His present from Ern, Yani & myself
Happy birthday!!!
Jon & his family

All the Peirce people

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, future pilot!

The 'surprise' he got from his diving-mates.
Eggs & flour all over him. Time to put him in the oven!

He wanted to dirty me as well. But, NOOOOOOOOOOOO!

All of us with the muffin!

Eggs shell!

He was trying to spike his hair. HAHAHAHA.
Also, congrats Jon on achieving the 'Best Student In Flying' award at SYFC!
I hope you had a good time last night. :)
New Gadget!
I finally got this in my hands! :D
I caught this show a few weeks with Ruz, Azmi & Azmi's sister. The beginning was rather draggy, that I fell asleep. But, the ending is good. :)
Picture taken last Saturday.
I'm going to the airport this Wednesday to fetch this girl, along with KeJia. I can't wait to catch up with them. Especially KeJia, I haven't seen her close to a month or two.
I'm going to study for InfoSecurity test, and hit the sacks. Goodnight!
